FUNATSURU was found as a traditional Japanese-style hotel and restaurant in 1870, and the place had been loved by writers and artists of these days, and brides in Kyoto admired to have wedding ceremony there. FUNATSURU was reborn as a wedding hall and French restaurant in 2008. The place was also registered as a tangible cultural properties in 2012.

Facility

They have a chapel and three different size of banquet rooms.

Chapel

A chapel located on the top floor of the building provides amazing view of Kyoto Higashiyama and its capacity is 100 guests.

GRAND BALL ROOM

Their gorgeous main banquet room is the biggest in Kyoto and has a capacity of 170 people including bride and gloom.

GALLERY ROOM

The room with decorative ceiling painting of carp fishes offers a space with unusual mixture of Japanese traditional style and modern. It has a capacity of 92 people including bride and gloom.

VIP ROOM

The room appropriate for small party provides not only a homelike atmosphere but also tradition and formality. It has a capacity of 42 people including bride and gloom.

FUNATSURU Standard Wedding Plan

The plan includes everything for whole wedding ceremony and banquet for between 40 to 170 people. The plan is available at the price of 2,451,848 yen in case for 60 people.

This plan is available for a large group between 80 to 170 people. The wedding will be held using FUNATSURU’s main banquet room GRAND BALL ROOM. The whole floor will be yours. The plan includes the following below at the price of 3,216,056 yen for 80 people.
